Yes, for the second time in history, there will not be a Stanley Cup award ceremony. For those who did not know, the last time was in 1919 due to the Spanish Flu.
I guess that Avalanche jersey I got for Christmas, and the matching one for 8083, will have to hang in the closet for another 8 months.
I know some of my readers don't give a rat's ass about hockey, but imagine what your year would be like if your favorite sport was cancelled. No World Series, no Superbowl, no basketball-trophy-thingy, no MLS cup. Do you feel those ladies' pain now?
