An update for the Libertians/Libertines...

Campbell's Bond Raised in Sex Case

Jeff Campbell is out of Clay County jail and under electronic surveillance after he allegedly violated terms of his bond, according to the Clay County Prosecutor's Office. Clay County Judge Donald Norris raised Campbell's bond last week to $200,000 from the original $100,000 bond after Campbell allegedly stalked his teenage victim. Witnesses reported seeing Campbell, 51, drive around the Liberty Square a number of times after he saw the 16 year- old girl he is charged with sexually molesting. Under terms of his original bond, Campbell was ordered not to have direct or indirect contact with the victim, according to Jim Roberts, spokesman for Prosecutor Dan White. Last month White charge Campbell with five counts of statutory rape, two counts of sodomy and two counts of child molestation for allegedly carrying on a consensual relationship with the teen. He is scheduled to appear at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb 8, for a hearing in Division 5 court.

WTF? Seriously, what is going on in his head? Apparently he was driving around the town square on Christmas Eve while she was lighting luminaries.
