Stupid Dirty Riordan
Former Los Angeles mayor and now California Education Secretary, Richard Riordan, told a little girl that her name, Isis, meant "stupid dirty girl."
I am interested to see how the NAACP continues with the issue. Democratic state Assemblyman Mervyn Dymally initially stated that the girl was African-American. It was later pointed out that the girl was indeed white with blonde hair. Will they pursue their attempts at blasting Riordan, or will they back off?
