True. Back in the eToys days, I worked with Gale Hanson, better known to Dead Poet’s Society fanatics as Charlie, aka Nuwanda. One friend learned you shouldn’t say, “Hey Nuwanda, get me some coffee.” Another dubbed him Crazy Gale Hanson, but I don’t remember why. I always got a long with him. After eToys folded, I ran into him on Larchmont. Every time I need a little extra courage to muster through the bullshit, I paint a little imaginary red lightning bolt on my chest to get through it Nuwanda-style.
