Breaking the law, breaking the law...

I really do not care for rules and regulations, but as I grow older and more responsible, I break less of them. However, I still need something to show the establishment that my punkass has some roots to uphold. That being said, this years run has ended. My registration was up in February and I almost made it to July before being pulled over this morning. Copper gotta bust my balls about a little sticker. Sucky thing about Pleasant Valley pigs...they confiscate your license until you pay the fee. (That is so they can plant their microchip on it to monitor everything your say and do.)

My options:

  • I can get my car inspected and registered for roughly $37, then pay my $48 fine and me on my merry way, perhaps learning the lesson The Man wants me to.
  • I can opt to say F.U. to the PVPD, pay a $73 fine, and show up in court late August, to dispute the fact that my stickers clearly show Feb 04 and admit that I know it is Jul 04.
  • Alternatively, I can pay a $50 bond to get my driver license out of the PVPD "jail". Now, why would I want to pay that?

After living in Missouri for two years, just last weekend I finally handed over my Cali license and accepted that I am again a Missouri resident.

To make me feel better, a coworker sent me this little link, which if you have not seen yet, you really should. It is quite funny.
