Thoughts for today...

This story is fascinating and yet, it sets off the conspiracy theorist in me. C'mon, Germany and a family of abnormally strong people? Am I to assume that Germany is as innocent as China is for not toying with their super-athletes?

24 Days until...

Allow me to rant about those bastards at Bank of America really quick. Actually, I have already wasted enough breath this week on the phone with them. I will simply say this; they are a prime example of true money-greedy, swindling american assholes.

At work, what makes a manager think they can just walk out of a room because they do not like what they are hearing? Seriously, if I am telling you something that affects the happiness of our client but will cause you to do more work, I do not think it is fair to say, "I'm leaving now because I don't want to hear anymore." It is your friggin' job to manage the operations, not mine.

About once every two months, my officemate decides that a particular cd (either tori amos or sarah mclachlan) needs to be at full volume and she needs to sing with it. I am respectful; I keep my music at a low level on a daily basis. I do not complain when she does this, as I know it helps her cope. Her daughter was premature last July and as a result, has all sorts of complications. She spends approximately 30% of each month in the hospital. It's horrible. I understand that. I am so thankful that my children are healthy and I hope the baby is helpful as well. I listen to all the crying, sobbing, whimpering. I understand her frustration with every person asking how her daughter is. It gets old, but they mean well. I feel very sympathetic for her. Can we just not blast Tori or Sarah anymore? I can't handle that.

AND FINALLY, JUSTICE IS SERVED!
